Refund Policy

What you are buying

Every ExternalOS product is a digital file (a Claude skill, a Notion template, or a document pack). When you buy, you receive the file and a lifetime licence to use it. When the underlying UK legislation moves, we ship the update to you at no extra cost.

How the refund works

  1. Email hello@externalos.com from the address you used at checkout, with the order reference Gumroad sent you.
  2. We reply to confirm, usually the same day.
  3. The refund is processed through Gumroad and lands back on the original payment method, typically within 3 working days.
  4. You keep the file. We do not revoke access. If you decide the update stream is still useful later, you can buy again.

Why "no questions"

A digital file is not a pair of shoes. You cannot return it. The only honest refund policy is one where the answer is "yes" the moment you ask. If the file does not fit your work, that is our problem, not yours.

We read every refund email. We do not use them as an excuse to troubleshoot, cross-sell, or delay. The point is to let you buy without risk.

After the 14 days

If something is actually broken in the file, a formula that misfires, a legislation update that missed, a broken link, tell us and we will fix it. That is covered by the lifetime licence, not the refund window.

For change-of-mind requests after 14 days, we cannot refund, but we will always talk it through if something is off.

Chargebacks

If you feel strongly enough to chargeback, we would rather just refund you. Email us first. Chargebacks cost both sides money and take weeks to resolve. We will not fight a legitimate chargeback, but a direct refund is faster for everyone.

Consumer rights

UK consumers buying from a UK business have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This refund policy is more generous than the statutory minimum. It does not replace your legal rights, it adds to them.
